To complete your crash report you will need the following information:

  • Crash details, including:
    • Date
    • Time
    • Location
  • Your details, including:
    • Driver Licence
    • Vehicle Registration
  • Other parties details, including:
    • Name
    • Residential Address
    • Vehicle Registration

Please ensure you have the above details before you begin your crash report. You will not be able to save the crash report in an incomplete state for completion at a later date.

Please answer the below questions to determine your eligibility to complete a traffic crash report. Should your responses to the questions not meet the specific requirements, you will then be required to attend a police station and report this crash to a police officer.

Did the crash occur in Tasmania?
Was anyone killed or injured in the crash?
Have all drivers and/or owners of any property involved exchanged details?

(Persons involved in a single vehicle accident may answer, 'yes' to this question.)

Was the crash a hit and run?
Were any vehicles towed or carried away from the crash scene?
Was a hire car involved in the crash?
